Sarosi by Timeless Gems
We are so excited to offer this collection of Mother of Pearl gaming counter pieces from Sarosi by Timeless Gems!
Carved from mother of pearl during the Ch’ing Dynasty, these elegant works of art were originally made as sets of three or more shapes denoting different denominations to be used as gambling counters. These counters were commissioned by British royalty and nobility during the Ch’ing Dynasty, the last dynasty of Imperial China.
Most gambling chips were crafted between 1736 - 1796. Thicker pieces of mother of pearl counters were mostly crafted between 1800 - 1820.
Sarosi has taken these historic pieces and crafted them into fine jewelry, using a mixture of gold and blackened sterling silver - these will be available for purchase during our 2026 Goth Valentine’s Ball; we hope to see you there!
