This ring features an antique, mother-of-pearl Chinese gambling counter with motifs dating back to the 18th Century. Originally carved in China for export to Britain, they were used like we would use poker chips. Different sizes and shapes were made to represent different denominations.

The antique gaming counter is set in 18k yellow gold and blackened sterling silver with two additional ceramic bands that can be worn on either side of the ring. The setting is handmade by jewelers in Los Angeles.
